As I suspected (and I honestly don't think I could have handled the disappointment if it had turned out to be rubbish after the Channel 5 letdown), Must Be The Music was ace.
Ok so it was a little bit like watching the X Factor but it was nice to see a bit of diversity and some acts playing their own instruments, but really all of this was second fiddle (please pause for a moment to respect the placement of that phrase) to the brilliant, funny and thoroughly nice Dizzee Rascal. All the judges were good actually, but Dizzee was the best.
Good news is, X Factor starts again next week too so that's the weekends sorted till Christmas.

Must Be The Music
It's almost X Factor season but in the meantime I am getting rather excited about Sky One's new musical talent show, Must Be The Music.
After the overwhelming disaster that was Channel 5's Don't Stop Believing, it's not going to take much to impress me, but I have got some high hopes after watching a preview show tonight.
The judges are Dizzee Rascal (I may mention this again but I love, love, love Dizzee), Sharleen Spiteri and Jamie Cullum. Interesting mix.
It starts tomorrow night, and I can't waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
