Mr G took me to see Columbo at the Theatre Royal today.
I managed to resist the temptation to storm the stage, demanding I be allowed to conduct my interview with Dirk Benedict then and there, and I have to say he was absolutely brilliant in the lead role.
He also looked like he definitely had a sense of humour, and I think he would have loved being interviewed by me, so I'm still devastated about my Nobel prize-winning article never coming to fruition, but I would definitely recommend a trip to the theatre this week to catch the play.
