On the bus this morning I noticed the words “Chop” & “In” on the windows of the university’s Roland Levinsky building. I pondered for a few moments whether this new restaurant was some kind of noodle bar, or perhaps it was referring to pork chops, and it was a proper old-fashioned pie 'n' mash style establishment?
After further consideration, it would in fact appear to be an advert for the Plymouth Polish Festival, celebrating Polish culture and marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the great masters of romantic music, Frederic Chopin.
Whoooooops.
