Hurrah!
Thank you to my friend, an academic and published author in the fields of archaeology and women's studies, for confirming that women can indeed have feminist values and still enjoy wearing make up.
My entire belief system has been restored and I can stop stressing about it now!
There is, obviously, a lot more context behind this discussion but it's probably not everyone's cup of tea so the point is, I can go about slapping on my blusher like it's going out of fashion and still expect to be judged on my abilities, not my humongous waps.
